Why QF's changes to partner status earn are going to backfire on QF

Sadly the SC earn appears to have been settled at half the QF earn. If that was under review for legs that QF no longer fly (eg SIN-LHR or HKG-LHR) I would feel that there might be some fairness in the changes. But as it stands I feel that QF are punishing anyone who is not on-board with their Middle-East routing and tie-up with EK.

Likewise. For me it's the KUL - SYD leg.

Maybe QFF as an entity are not really worrying to much about high frequency frequent flyers crediting elsewhere.

It may be there is more profit in the small volume gatherers of points who never really have enough for a significant flight redemption, eventually redeeming for that toaster, or better yet, don't redeem at all ...

There's easy money in "Breakage".

I actually received TWO surveys. One (I suspect) as a result of qualifying Gold for the first time. The second (nominally) to report on my last international sector (SIN-MEL)

I was honest which alas will not promote the direction(s) that QF and QFF appear to be headed. I could be no more than neutral on recommending QFF to others. And I did mention the lack of international flights from PER and the lack of PEY on the A330s.

Happy wandering
