I'm really feeling ripped off.Daver6 to JNB and now you to BKK had 2 of the courses I had in F SYD-LAX.
So QF F catering is definitely of J standard.
You had the duck salad and blue eyed trevalla dis I had.

No argument from me drron ... QF F F&B offering is woeful!

Like most hotels on the river The Pen runs a free shuttle service to and from the hotel to various locations - excellent way to start and end your day.

Nice choice - worth a visit if in the area.

Shuttle boat to and from dinner - what a way to travel!

I remember seeing the Pen shuttle boats when we were in BKK after Christmas and thinking they looked very spiffy certainly a bit more upmarket than they one from our hotel (though in its favour it was still ok).

For those that may decide to stay here, I recommend rooms ending 03/04/09/10 on a high floor.

I had thoughts of heading into town, one look at the taxi queue snuffed that out.

Apparently a public holiday was the cause.
