Woolworths gift card thread

I actually delayed my visit to specifically wait out the 2 hours. Oh well. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.

So I tried again today. Different store, different rewards card. Same result - no Christmas Bonus.

Edit: I bought the $105.95 cards, and appear to have the 10x offer but not the 1k points/card offer, total points earned were 10,600. Will try and find the $106.95 cards and have another go

Not sure how you can tell which offer you got. The 1k catalogue offer is programmed to award 10x base points instead of a flat 1k.

Ah I didn’t realise that was how they applied. In that case no idea which one I got.

Damn -
10 pp per $ working - just the 1000 points for the gift cards not coming up as I only have the $5.95 cards in the stores near me :(
Also interesting that I got 10 ppt per $ for spending 1 x 105.95 - instead of the 5 I should have got :)

Did you register 2 hours before purchase?

The bonus is showing on my receipt for a purchase made today. 10 x points were awarded instantly.
Dr Ralph - so to confirm you got the 10x points per $ = 1060 points per card PLUS got the 1000 points for the gift card = 2060 points per card ?

thats what seems to be happening

the tcs do say

"If a member is eligible for multiple bonus points offers on the same product, only 1 (one) standard Woolworths Rewards point will be earned once for all such offers"

obviously a loop hole :)

is the activation of these cards, still taking ages, or was it just at self serve,
I cant remember

one thing I do recall is that self serve was taking approx 2mins per card, except if you do them 1 by one
which then its literally seconds

This. Base points only get the x bonus. Woolies doesn't award points for gift card value.

So assuming buying more than $150 in one transaction, one Only1 viss card earns 1000 points (catalogue offer) plus 1060 points (10x points) = 2060 points? Or just one of them?

I can safely say there is no $6.95 activation fee VISA1 cards on the market at all, just a misprint on the catalogue. You only get 10 times points for buying $5.95 activation fee ones, not stack with Christmas bonus points this weekend.

Will the 10x points promo work for Perfect GC?

T&Cs says no.

Can anyone confirm that they have seen only1s at 106.95? I've only seen eftpos ones at that price.

But its been reported 10x points work on Only1

I'm not in a position to comment on those cards. Not sure I'd be interested given there's no bonus points on them at present.

If its 1070 points on Perfect GC, 1060 points on Only1, still worthwhile considering have about almost 5 figures to pay Canberra online store
