Woolworths gift card thread

Visited 2 Woolworths stores today.Saw 0 of the $88 perfectgiftcards in stock. They may be holding them back for sale tomorrow?

I'd like to figure out what @Cruiser Elite has discovered re doubling of return from Amex Platinum Charge. I'll need to set aside some time to re-read parts of AFF to have an 'aha' moment. Anyone else figured it out yet?
I'm guessing it's as simple as RP with linked Explorer-would love it to be something better

Now been to 4 different Woolworths stores. 3 had none. 1 had 25. Noticed in catalogue it says 'not available in all stores'.

Looks like these might be hard to find.

Got 1..... Sure said only 10 delivered as area not Asian enough??????????
Going the otherside of town to test this......

Rang another store... Has 10 here I come

Sounds like its an offer where the hassle outweighs the reward. At 5% off, I could probably justify but for an extra 88MR a card I can't

So my local with "new" or those that had not saved for retirement????
1. Directed from self checkout...she could not be bothered processing my one at a time...even though it was dead and the cashier had que?
2. Also in self checkout tried to tell me limit of 6....wrong!
3. Then proceeded to checkout and had to repeat 1 at a time several times.........4cent voucher and WOW algorithm beating.
4. Watched frustrated shoppers with baskets wait and as processed my 10 cards.....
Now to get another 10 after from the otherside of town unless a restock occurs!

Happy New Year!

Went to my local yesterday Where several staff know me.
There were about 10 on display.
I grabbed 5 and asked for them to be held for me.
Went back to day and purchased.

While I was there today I checked stock on display. There were about 10 or 12 on rack.

Thought I'd get a couple of $88 CNY cards and use them for "government transactions" where my usual card doesn't award points. Looking at the thread so far, I was expecting stock levels to be low. Imagine my surprise to find the first Woolies I walked into had plenty - 80-90 by my rough count. I only wanted 5 so I've left plenty on the display rack.

So, an FYI for anyone looking for cards - Miller in south-west Sydney has lots!

Nice, I'm sure many of us would be glad to take 'em all.

Most I've found of these $88 cards is 20 in one store. Bought about 60 so far. Used them all to buy some US dollars today. Good getting credit card points on a transaction that I would normally not use a credit card for.
