From what I'm reading this is now good to go?

It is for the moment, at least. I'd probably lean towards the $100 cards, as you need to do the activation once per card, higher denominations would mean less steps involved.

I just used up my MC visa card straight away, in case there are other technical problems
and ive just driven to the local woolies and picked up 5 more,

ill do 5 at a time, just in case

Just a tip for those who don't mind a circular reference - exactly $105.26 of woolworths gift card via cashrewards/shopback seems to add up to $100 which does indeed neatly consume a $100 gift card's balance.

Have started the process.

Entered details for 1 x 'Active' card. Got emails saying things have started. No SMS yet. Assume that this takes a few hours?

Best to wait until the first card is converted or do all of the ones that I have purchased now?

UPDATE: SMS came through in less than 1.5 hour. I've followed the link and downloaded the App. Have set up the first card. Just did the registration for the second card. Think I'll get them all in the App and then use them all at once. Just FYI I noticed that the Swap ID had increased by 21 (assuming they are sequential) over the last 2 hours. Suggests not many utalising this method (at this stage)

Mine are all showing $100 balance in app but get declined when try and use

Tried calling bht their phone just ring out

I did have an issue with one card, because I tried using it with zipmoney (don't do that, by the way) and it debited $1 to test the card and then failed to add it.

The app has a bit of a bug where sometimes when you go into a card, it shows an empty history. The first thing you should see for any given card is "Initial load" followed by "Card status changed from PreActive to Active due to a load". If you don't see these transactions, kill the app and go back in, and you should see it.

You may now have a preauth like I did with the $1 on the card bringing down the effective balance. Mine showed $100 until I quit out of the app and went back, now it shows $99.

Edit: Same error for me when I tried to buy a WW Gift Card, I suspect they have caught on.

Unfortunately not, it was meant to be a conversion of the gift card into a mastercard for the purpose of spending with that particular retailer online (as the EFTPOS card would not work online).

It seems likely to me that they've implemented something which now limits the merchant that you can utilise the card with, as any transaction I've tried has failed. I suspect if I were to purchase from booktopia, for example, that it would work.

Definitely looks like party is now over. I can't get it to work on any merchant - haven't tried those listed on the card.

I converted 2 cards to one store. Haven't converted the 3 remaining.

I can live with this. But wish it had gone differently.

I bought 5 on the firm basis that I may have to use them. So prepared to do that over the next 3 yrs.

My final code came through. Took 23 hrs.

I won't be converting anymore.
