I actually couldn't find any of those in my local Woolies.

Anyone have any experience with how widely accepted the Restaurant Gift Cards are?

Looks like I'll have to buy and try, then report back.

The TCN restaurant & cafe? In my experience very widely accepted. Only a few venues I have been to where it didn't work, and usually then I have been able to use pub/bar card.

I rang up yesterday thinking the 14 days was up (not realising it's 14 business days) to see where my points were. First question she asked me was "did you activate more than 2 hours before purchase". NO! WTH, that had seriously not be a thing or I just bought $2.5K of WISH cards for nothing. Anyone else had an issue with activating and shopping too early?

PS Still possible that they will appear, 14 business days is Tues or Wed next week...I'll report back.

This is standard text in WW terms and conditions on all their targeted offers. Although, in those, I've activated way less than 2 hours before and points have landed.

However, this is a general offer, and so there is no "offer activation".

I don't think this is correct.

From memory the gift card offer was tied to a specific rewards card. I don't recall getting it for all of my different accounts/cards.

But I can't say I'm surprised that there has been a problem getting the points for the gift card offer. There have been multiple reports of issues for various precedeing offerings.

I think it is correct, at least in that there was no requirement to boost. You just had to be sure to click the link provided. Here's the email:

My comment indicated that it wasn't a general offer. A general offer is one available to every person. I've checked my emails and I stand by this statement. This was a targeted offer.

Ah yes I see your point. Happily (for me) the part about no boosting was correct though.

I “gifted” myself $200 with that offer (although I’m actually confused as to whether the points were credited or not. Points came in that were an odd amount so I think they either didn’t credit or lumped them together - wish I could get a statement of points earned. Does anyone know if this is possible?) and was sent this offer. I just got $2500 worth of cards and as per @Dr Ralph ’s warning I‘be made a note to follow up on 15 days time.

FYI I received my 10x bonus yesterday, notified today.
The bonus was to be credited by 24/4, 14 days after the end of the promo.
A few days early is good!
