Woolworths gift card thread

Eastgardens Pagewood NSW restocked this afternoon. Mote than hundred still there tonight when I left after getting 10

When I bought these at the register the cashier gave me an individual receipt for each card which has the last 4 digits ONLY1 card on it. She said it was like a proof that I activated it. Do you get these at the Self Server checkout? If so do you have to do anything to get the receipt or does it just spit it out along with the regular receipt?

Found a few visa in Coles..... So what can you move them to Woolies and pay there???? Think it involves some line being crossed :/
I was actually told in Vic the stores will not get sent restock until Friday..... Auspost/damage control?????

We'll did a final round this morning

Called up one for kicks and they said none left.... Err hold on. We got a stack last night. You better come and get them.

Got there and about 300.

I took my 40 and left the rest... Since I felt bad taking 100

Good luck to the others :)

i find it hard to 'use' these 1Visa giftcard as it will include surcharge for most bill payment and also 'everyday purchase' like coffee or even meals.... since we have to choose 'credit' and not savings like the $88 card.. but in saying that, will be using it to pay some big item purchase..

Im on the contrary...easily churned my cards, prepaid health insurance for the upcoming year prior to price rise & strata bill for a property

already paid my health insurance till next year via the $88 card, no strata bills (coz no propert :-( ).. and most of my other (energy, water) bills, surcharge applies..

Thats fair enough. Just a thought - I dont see why PayPal wouldnt accept these cards? Might be a way around avoiding any applicable surcharges?

Paypal, would however in nearly all cased they would also take Amex so better use would be the places that don't take Amex or Paypal and perhaps have a small surcharge
