Thanks. Forgot about purchasing with a discounted Wish card.I've PMd to give you the rundown
Does anyone know when the cards get replenished in the Melbourne area? or know which branch would order some in for me. I have cleaned out QV, South Melbourne, St Kilda, St Kilda West WWs but still need more.
And also, are the Only1 cards stocked in any of the Metro shops. I have checked a few in the CBD, but none had the Only1 cards.
Only the $100 ones. Got 84 of them. They still have loads and loads of $50 ones.
I was going to go again tomorrow morning and see if they have been restocked.
The St Kilda WW manager told me that they were being a lot more careful when people purchase these cards due to the ATO iTunes scam and are having chats with people who are buying lots of cards to warn them about the scams.
What is the ATO iTunes scam?
Ahh damn, hopefully they would have restocked, I want 14 of the $100
Sounds like a child dreamed up that scam. It's sad there are people out there who think the ATO accepts payment with iTunes cards. Really sad.Scammers calling people up and saying that they have a ATO debt due and if they don't want to go to jail, they need to pay asap and oh, they want the payment in iTunes cards.

No what is sad are the low life's that take advantage of the elderly.
You can see how it can happen.
Elderly woman whose husband probably used to manage all the finances as back in the day that is how it has happened.
Elderly woman who is probably not that familiar with the internet, electronic banking etc.
Gets called up by "helpful" and no doubt "friendly" supposed ATO official that advises her of a tax debt and even though she doesn't understand electronic banking that he has an easy way to help her out.
$46,000 later she has been fleeced.
Agreed.
One version of the ATO phone scam starts with a very VERY realistic sounding phone message before giving you the option of pressing 1 to talk with someone.
My heart beat went up at least 20bpm probably more like 30 and I am described by those who know me as one of the world's greatest cynics and disbelievers.
In case you haven't seen the thread...
Scams like these
I would contact Accor. had a similar issue with an Apple GC when my son was so happy with one of his presents that he scratched it too hard and the entire tape came off and fell down into the seat mechanism.Bought some Accor giftcards earlier this year and used 2 of these with the 3rd in my wallet. I was going through wallet the other day and the plastic backing at the back with the oin to scratch has come off the card.
Would I need to contact Woolworths or Accor. In for some fun I think.

I have a large insurance bill with OnePath due soon. Have just enquired about paying it $100 at a time using the Visa1 cards I bought with my WOW eGCs. They've said no and I must do it in one payment.
Might another member have paid OnePath previously by this method and have a workaround for me to try.
