i've finally hit 100. The place that I went to earlier this week (st ives) was sold out, there was at least 40 2 days ago. Anyhow I think i'm done, now just to spend the visa cards and going into DJs and getting them to combine them.

I realise I need a new IP after registering every 10 with DJs, but is a different email address also required with each new IP?

nope, im on 100 and with the same email address

I know nothign about IP addresses, but have found switching y data off and on , sporadically its a new ip address,
but if I turn the phone off, it seems to work eveyrtime

Went to my local and bought 10 - the system came up asking for business names and details - I said it was for personal use
Clerk called the floor manager over - straight off said sorry, 5 is the limit
I said - no it's 10 - your catalogue says so.
She said no its not its 5. I opened one up and pointed it out to her
Then said I will have to split the transaction in 2 lots - forgot how stupid this process could be sometimes - things we do for points and nearly free dj's vouchers lol

edit: I think there is a 5 e-gift card limit online @ dj's
Is there a limit for in person?

ive found that max per limit depends on the store, and staff,
some staff and managers dont know how much the max is, but systemwise ,its 10 cards of any value is the max,
the ABN option comes up because its over $1k

ive been to a store and bought 30 at a time, split into 10s,
gone back a few hours and a different member insists its 4 per trans max, and insists on splitting it

I just accept what they say and never argue

I cleared out my local store for a total of 63, really cant be bothered to hunt around for more. Without a bar code on the eGift cards these are looking painful to use, anyone found an easier way ? Can you convert the card # into a barcode for example ?

C.

Tip for everyone using self serves, to SKIP staff involvement

The first time I tried this, the receipt paper jammed so I had to call the staff over anyway.

The 2nd & 3rd times I had no idea that a staff member was standing behind me waiting to approve my purchase. When the approval screen didn't come up they got confused and started asking me questions.

Ironic.

No. But it may be wise to do so just in case they decide to do some sort of review at a later stage and establish that you have more than the limit of 10. Why risk this happening? Just use multiple email addresses if more than 10 cards. It's for this same reason that I don't use my EDR card when I purchase any of these Visa Only cards.

I've had some trouble with one of the store I visit. They seem to be affronted with what I am doing. They can't seem to work out if I'm doing something wrong or not but they question my transactions and try to make it difficult to purchase the Visa Only cards with a WISH card. Today I got the manager to come to the register and gave them a bollocking because I was asked for ID and told that the name on my ID didn't match the ID on the WISH card!

I'm at a total of 170 cards and very tired by the entire process.

That's correct. But you can take your $10 egift cards into a store and convert them to a higher denomination.

No.
