Woolworths lack of bonus points complaint thread

Look what I got in the mail today!

The expiry date on the triple points offer looks really short. If I get one of these coupons in the next two days and it expires on Sunday, then I don't know if I'm going to be able to use it. I've already done my Woolworths shopping for the week. I'm doing a couple of bulk shops at Coles on the weekend so I couldn't really justify a large shopping trip on Sunday at Woolworths. I'm getting much better value than QFF triple points on my two Coles transactions.

Sure somebody at WOW must be getting all this feedback and wondering if they are alienating an increasingly larger part of their client base that is bringing significant revenue and profit....

Triple points at coles, 8 cent voucher for a $30 dollar spend (on whatever) and 500 bonus points on a $6o spend at Coles.

If I want any bonus points at Woolworths I have to jump through hoops, walk on burning coals, pray to God, Jesus, Buddha and Allah for the remote chance of getting a bonus point offer... If I am lucky.

I think we are all thinking the same way.

When I've been sending feedback to WW in their targeted fuel offers, I have been pointing out the better value of the coles 8 cent vouchers. I have pointed out that you can spend the $30 on anything to get 8 cents, rather than spending a set price on a particular section or spending $50 on anything to get a decent voucher. I do my bulk shopping at Coles because I can usually get at least triple points or better on nearly all my purchases.

YMMV - I had the 18¢ for $120 spend last week, 69 litres last night - that's a saving of $12.42.

That's an equivalent of ~300 points value for me.

I have a double points offer on my WOWEDRCC until Dec 9 plus fuel offers to try to stop 5% off Gift Card use. I picked up enough points off Gift Card purchases this month for a one way JASA to Sydney as the office needed some.

Well perhaps our combined "voices" has started to make a difference with the current WOW offer now being a choice of FFP's or fuel saving

Perhaps they had a change of EDR management

Cue the coles music " down down, fuel sales are down" :)

I think there is an update due next month on figures, will be interesting to see whats changed.

Complaint has been made. I didn't even get one targeted offer this week after ~$150 a week in groceries and ~$50 a week on fuel for the past 6 weeks.

I mentioned I'd be earning about 7 flybuys points per dollar for the next week and 10 p/$ the week after based on mailed out promos.

If you make two consecutive $101 transactions do you get 2x 15c fuel vouchers?

Depends on the T&C's of the offer - is it a one use only offer? If so, then the second one will just get the EDR points

Yes, but if you do it at a register the operator may stop you. I split it across two credit cards and two EDR cards (linked) saying 'the rest of this is for someone else'.
