Worse than feet on bulkheads

This superstar had so much space inside his suite but no, he had to parade his stinky feet outside for everyone to see.

I really felt like slamming the door on him!

Guarantee if you had mentioned the problem to him, the DYKWIA speech would have been 'extra special' , to put it politely.

One can lead a monkey to civilisation, but you cannot make him lift his knuckles off the ground!

Saw this on a blog.

Couple funny responses on how to respond to this.

Open and then close that seat back table.

Two fixes for this - Change the color with a Sharpie - maybe some purple highlights. Or thanks to the TSA for allowing Scissors, Just cut it off even with the top of the seat. Problem resolved.

I was sitting next to a FA once. She took a sip of her water, told me to sneeze, then sprayed water on the chick's hair. She stopped flipping it.

Is anything too gross to post in this thread?

I do recall someone posting a pic of a guy happily browsing a soft cough mag on a flight once.....with appropriate black bars over possible offensive bits, so to what type of "gross", do you refer?

OK here we go - WARNING - if you have a weak stomach or are at all prone to vomitting at gross things please look away now!!!

Thursday eve I took a train Nanjing to Hongqiao Shanghai - dep Nanjing South train station 17:50 for a 1hr 17min ride to SH stopping only at Suzhou. I was in the mini Business Class cabin - only 5 seats in total - I was in 1A rear left seat and culprit for this post seated in 1F - rear right seat - you can see him preparing to take up his seat in this pic:

All was good after departing and I dozed off onlt to be awoken by - and there is no gentle way to describe this - I was awoken by pax in 1F 'Hocking up the biggest gooby of all time then dropping it in the sick bag / rubbish bag provided in seat back pocket - then dropping bag back into seat back pocket before reclining and relaxing as if all is normal! You can see sick bag indicated by arrow.

OMG - I almost chucked on the spot - I had to look out the window and think of all the good things that has happened to me recently to prevent dry reaching. But wait - it gets worse.

Train arrives Hongqiao and 1F pax first out door of mini cabin - I was last to exit as I was carting so much luggage - pic here shows sais sick bag still sitting in seat back pocket where this dirty b**stard just left it:

I think this might just be a tad worse than 'Feet on the Bulkheads!'

Mods - if too gross or too many complaints I understand if you delete this post.

He used it, stowed it for future use, and just forgot to take it with him. These things happen.

Good he used the sick bag in the first place.

Are there attendants you can hand such things to? And probably assumed it would be collected by cleaners - it seems properly wrapped up?

First DRW flight (out of DRW that is) and I can see it has the potential to be somewhat entertaining. So far, 4 women and 50+ blokes, eloquently attired in tats, singlets and thongs (+ a selection of dreadies) and giving the VA lounge stocks a run for their money!

I can see the sanctity of the J cabin will likely be stormed by the "bursting bladder" brigade this afternoon!

There was a toilet 4mtrs from his seat - staff continually in cabin offering drinks etc - not wrapped up at all just dropped in and pressure of seat back squashing it flat

Ok. Rather gross then. You need an abrasive to rub the visuals from your mind and something to extract the noise from your ears!

I think your original post highlights some food for thought. The 'worse than' notion of this thread is probably relevant to westerners, applying western standards, to other westerners.

Trying to apply it to other cultures can be difficult. Plenty of stuff happens in China that short-term visitors might find confronting. But when you spend any sort of time there, this stuff becomes somewhat less surprising.

I never thought I would be posting so soon in this thread after my first flight in 4 months. But I got this lovely lady in front of me on the plane.
Starting by throwing her towel up on the top of the seat, at first it covered half my screen, she went on to sleeping, taking up the 3 seats available (quite ok but not ok stretching her feet into the poor man sitting in the fourt one). Hald her head hanging over the armrest, hair too. Poor stewardess had problems maneuvering around her.
Then she wakes up, have something to eat then lays down the back of her seat as far as it goes before lying down, occupying the 3 seats again....
Now why lay the back of your seat down if you arent sitting in it?!
Too bad I just had to dig into my seat pocket a lot
Will post pics when I get better wifi.

Not really impressed with the lack of courtesy and consideration of other passengers. Glad I was not in her row...

But then again, she wasnt really a ray of sunshine when she woke up either.
