Worse than feet on bulkheads

Actually airline coffee is lukewarm for safety reasons
Was in the (London) Tube today and couple opposite kept digging into a plastic bag, pulling out wrapped sweets, unwrapping and 'surreptitiously' throwing the wrappers on the floor. On the last time the female saw me looking and commented to partner "he's watching us", then proceeded to do it again.

now, I don't live here but was sorely tempted to get out my phone and photograph the floor for Twitter post.

I think you could've done that surreptitiously. ;)

Surprised the lounge staff didn't intervene

I've seen plenty of displays similar to that and I've never seen the lounge staff intervene. I genuinely believe that the lounge staff should be instructed to ask those displaying such behaviour to leave the lounge immediately. It'd soon get around via social media, word of mouth etc that behaving like a gorilla is not acceptable. It's that way with nightclubs. Most don't even try to gain access without suitable attire as they know they either won't be admitted, or turfed out if they do get in, so if it can work with nightclubs, it can certainly work with airline lounges.

Turf out the slobs, I say!

On a QF flight from Darwin some time ago in J, a guy arrived in worn out thongs and dirty shorts and a tank top, he lifted his carry on up and he had more under arm hair than a gorilla, sitting opposite me he kept stretching his arms above his head and like snorting every now and then (guess he didn't have a hanky), all I can say is thank you to my Bose Comfort 15's noise cancelling headphones :)

It's interesting how they say that, though that is not my experience at all. I've rarely had a cup of coffee/tea on a flight that is cool enough to drink straight away. Honestly, it's hotter than what you can get from the terminal. Makes me wonder why they have the hot beverage restriction in the first place.

They don't serve hot beverages during take off, which is quite sensible when you think about it, and also why they don't allow you to bring on a hot beverage from the terminal.

I don't mind people taking off shoes on a flight, but when the man in seat next to me on a flight from SYD to MEL yesterday slipped his foot out of his thong (flip flop) and started to pick the skin off his heel and sole of his foot......and then proceeded to eat the removed skin, I was immediately put off my food.

That is just so wrong!!

Ah good old canabalistic skin eaters ..... I have seen worse ...... My eyes popped out when gentleman in 4c proceeded to pick his nose ever so vigorously then to deposit those diggings in the middle of the aisle by using a similar manoeuvre one would use to spread salt over a meal.
Totally carefree while engrossed in a book. He had a suit and a tie too ( recent 737 flight Brisbane Melbourne ) !

Now that must surely take the cake (no pun intended) for the single most disgusting thing to do...full stop! But to do it in public just shows the said perpetrator has no brain, no shame and no tastebuds. Says bucket loads for why thongs should be banned in public! What airline (out of curiosity)?

VA and the boarding pass sticking out from the seat pocket was a WP status.
