Have any AFF members been tempted to take their shoes and socks off on a plane
Leaving aside the total wind-up, I'm sure many AFF members have slipped their clogs off and draped their toes over their travel companions, multiple times for multiple miles......what is your point?
Who has or has not offended others is not the theme of the thread. I find it's an observation by some travellers, that others who do not understand their actions offend and will continue to offend, albeit (perhaps) unwittingly. Would a steel cap to the temple be more direct and better suited?
Attempting to excuse unsociable actions by misdirected shaming is never an answer to a problem.......and disgusting personal hygiene in a cramped sardine tin is a problem regardless of whether one chooses to acknowledge it or not.
Your question is shallow, which can be countered by a multitude of subsequent questions, but may I suggest, that level of response is undeserved by the question posed?
For the record, I'm not totally against someone slipping their shoes off in flight. I'm against someone slipping their shoes off with or without the knowledge they offend (and often stink) and then expecting everyone to accept they can place said feet in any crevice or platform on the aircraft.
The words that spring to mind are.......selfish, disgusting, unhygienic and bogan. If those words don't describe ones attributes, then don't partake in those behaviours. Seems fairly simple to me.
