UPDATE: The returning northbound MF804 (the 1145 hours) took off at 1248 so XMN arrival should be at 1904, 49 minutes down.

Due to what turned out to be a false fire alarm at MEL ATC and consequent eventual need to evacuate the tower, Melbourne Airport closed to inbound flights for about half an hour from 0930 to 1000 on Monday 14 Jnauary.

MF803 from XMN down to MEL naturally had to hold and so B788 B-2762 is arriving at 1041 hours, 56 late.

Thursday 24 January 2019 finds MF813 from HGH to MEL (B789 B-7836) suggested as arriving at 1038, 53 late. As MF814 is timetabled to depart at 1145 hours, it should only be 15 minutes late pushing back if all goes well.

MF801 from XMN to SYD (B788 B-2762) looks to be arriving at 1141, 86 late.

The return flight, MF804, is not timetabled to depart until 1145 hours so it could well be on time or very close to it. This again shows the value if feasible of airlines having greater than minimum turnarounds in so-called 'outstations.'
