This thread is to gauge a couple of questions regarding how the 2012 XMAS event is to be held.

I think for the sake of sanity, if you are not attending, please don't poll or comment as I don't want this thread to divert any attention away from the upcoming OOL event being organised by Sam.

From comments passed and discussed (thanks Bundy for being a sounding board), I just want to ensure the event meets the expectations of the majority

Sorry to take you out of AFF for the form, but the forum form ability is lacking for what I need.

I will make the outcome public in about a month.

Thanks

Just so you know...I couldn't read the first question....I assume it asked what location you live in?

Where you would prefer the Xmas event held.

Thanks for pointing out, just boarded a plane, will check form once back on the ground

Sorry I may have missed this - but was there a date(s) chosen already apart from Fri or Sat?

FWIW if I am alive and in Oz on selected date I will be there as I had such a ball last year.

Thanks for this munitalP. I've filled out the form, but at this stage we're gold for attendance.

munitalP, may I ask what the concept is for Xmas? Still Hilton or elsewhere?

I only ask, as Hilton still has the Great Getaway sale on with reasonable room rates for the date previously suggested.

The basic concept is still Hilton on the last weekend before Xmas and probably Sydney.

Survey submitted. Would prefer the Saturday if travelling, so I can work on the Friday...

I've just filled in the survey, thanks for putting it up. I'm not really fussed in which city the event is. Just good company, food and drinks, and I'll be happy. It is my intention to attend if possible, but could not commit to being 'platinum' at this stage.

Thanks munitalP...
I'm hoping for Saturday night at the Sydney Hilton ;)

Looking forward to catching up with everyone again.

Fantastic. The Great Getaway Sale ends 23rd July, I believe, so not that I'm rushing anything, but it would be great to get in before that sale ends!

I'm a goer for Saturday night here in Sydney. Done the spreadsheet thing.

Get back from London on Dec 3, hopefully this is before the event... fingers crossed!

Survey completed. Thanks again, munitalP.

Just a slight note (for those that haven't filled it out yet): One question asks for what is most important to you, but a latter question asks what is least important to you. It makes sense if you read the question properly, but if you're filling it out quickly you need to adjust your intuition properly, otherwise you may not register your preference properly.

Submitted. I probably won't be able to make it if it's on a Friday.

Sydney seems like the most popular option here. If that's the case I'd prefer for the accommodation and dinner to not be bundled together as I'll probably just sleep at home (I live 3km from the Hilton) :)

And thanks munitalP. I don't envy anyone who has to organise events!
