You know you are a frequent flyer when ...

I’m still flying loads, but I understand why the older and vulnerable would not, even though the chance of contracting covid in Australia is microscopic right now....

I will soon hit platinum without the leg up and now with the QF sale there are some INCREDIBLE J fares I will be jumping on.

When you pick up your partners new car and the first thing you notice is the licence plate letter code happens to be an airport code you know (CGK) and within seconds or somewhat less wondering why it could not be one of your preferred airports.
When I drive around, I look at license plates and call out the airport code to my fellow passengers. Not everyone enjoys that, SURPRISINGLY !! (lol)

You know you are a frequent flyer when...even during a pandemic you're still trying to find the furthest place you can legally (& safely) goto for a holiday.

Haha busted... Last year I went as far east as Norfolk Island and as far west as Christmas Island. I'd highly recommend both although it must be said that Norfolk Island is much easier to get to from the east coast.

........when you ignore the covid event and continually keep booking and cancelling flights.
Likewise.

For me I'd also add .... when you keep track of all the aircraft you've flown and some individual aircraft you've been on 5 times in about 7-8 months (VH-QOW is that aircraft for me)

I have decided I am not a true frequent flyer, out of curiosity I googled the letters on my 12 yro work truck and sure enough AAI is an airport code for Deputado Joaquim d'Abreu Coelho Airport which is some small village in Brazil, wikipedia link is here. I am pretty sure this is an airport I am most likely never to visit.

Now you have started something. My car, YKE gets me to Knee Lake Airport in Manitoba Canada - which I might get to one day

My number plate letters are an airport I'll never fly to and more annoyingly they're from an aircraft I wish I had the chance to fly on, but never will: EAB
(VH-EAB was QF B747SP - a cool looking model of one of the best looking aircraft of all time)

DNF is Martuba in Libya. Don't see me there in the foreseeable future!

Ha ha - cool - my number CTM is Chetumal International Airport (IATA: CTM, ICAO: MMCM) is an international airport located in Chetumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

Now we need to hear from those whose number plate is not an airport code.

I have a personalised plate... and unless there's a system for naming airports after 5 characters, I'm out. However, my previous personalised plate (no longer on a vehicle) unsurprisingly has the IATA: SAM contained within it. Unfortunately, an airstrip on an island in Papua New Guinea that doesn't have RPT is unlikely to be visited by me.

Current AWZ is Ahvaz International Airport in Iran

and previous VPS Destin–Fort Walton Beach Airport is an airport located within Eglin Air Force Base, on the municipal boundary of Valparaiso, and near Destin and Fort Walton Beach in Okaloosa County, Florida
