Is he still there? I have been there 3 times since March (all late morning) and not encountered him.
He's been there all 4 times I've used syd f lounge thus year. All in the am.

Friendly welcome every time of course.

One visit I only had 15 mins (due to late connecting flight and security queues) and he was concerned I didn't have time for breakfast.

You know you’re a frequent flyer when you know which body part has set the scanner off. Scared the ADL security stuff when the guy asked me to step aside and I just replied “left leg.”

When I flew QF7 in May (on a Sunday), he wasn't there when I arrived, but was when I left to go to the gate. QF11 wasn't flying that day, so he said he started later for QF1. He said his shifts were times for him to be there when a flight with F was departing.

I was travelling along Cranbourne-Frankston road recently, which is currently undergoing roadworks/upgrades at Western Port Highway.
At one point there's an electronic road sign saying "CRA - FRA RD CLOSED AT WP RDBT".
I thought to myself "Why is there a road named after the Craiova - Frankfurt route, and why are Wanky Platinums specifically mentioned?"...

Finally encountered Nestor this morning, and he did indeed remember me...must have been 5+ years since we last crossed paths? I told him about this thread, her seemed flattered.
I saw a named picture of him on a Qantas billboard over the Warringah Freeway last week

Yes, Nestor is one of the staff featured on their “thanks for your suppport” advertisements, including in-airport illuminated billboards.

Nestor would be one of the most connected people in Aviation! Always demonstrating a calming and pleasant disposition.

When Nestor notices you've had a hair cut in the past week.

All we need now is selfies with Nestor appearing on this thread. Answers the thread preposition perfectly!

I don't know if it's just me (feel free to chime in if this is you too!), but everytime I hear Nestor's name I think of Nestor the butler from Tintin comics (oh, what a blast from the childhood past)...
