A long time ago now, but recalled recently…

Sitting in 1A after being upgraded yet again and the Captain paxing sitting in 1B introduced himself and said you must fly a lot with us, you are sitting in my seat.

Later in the flight I was invited to sit in the jump seat for the landing into PER.

Later in the flight I was invited to sit in the jump seat for the landing into PER.

The second "upgrade" to the jump seat was, of course, the pax-ing captain's way of getting into "his" seat for landing
