Personally I prefer Feb/Mar & Sep/Oct
Miss the high seasons, and most weather events (I stress most)
The best thing is, both those time periods have events I need to travel to.
For example next month I will be doing SYD-AKL-LAX-DFW-CMH-ORD-MIA-MCO-MIA-ORD-CMH-DFW-LAX-LAS-LAX-BNE-SYD
WP retention in one trip (QF flights JASA, AA flights all YUPP's)
Last year I messed up and did CMH-JFK-MCO-JFK-CMH… what was I thinking, same price, and go via ORD & MIA… lol
September is usually West Coast based, but a mandatory weekend visit to Seattle is on the cards to visit friends, so F class via SFO or if from LAS via LAX (a quick 300 SC's return, and gets me to where I want)
For my Christmas trips I try and avoid ORD at all costs
