Detalis sketchy at the minute. 777 at SFO. Unconfirmed reports that all are ok but some pictures are showing significant fire damage. May have occurred over time though rather than at once.

Other pictures show the tail scattered over the runway.

Let the conjecture begin...tail is gone.

Another screen grab. Seems that the tail did indeed hit the sea wall prior to the runway. The green in the top part of the image is the water.

Rego of the plane is HL-7742.

Some pax evacuated taking their luggage GGGRRRR. Perfect weather at the time, should make for interesting reading when the reports come out as to why they undershot, shows how tough the fuselage is with it intact minus tail and engines etc.

PW powered, not rolls like the BA incident.

306 have been accounted for (Fox News) with the 2 confirmed fatalities.
180 odd at hospitals around the SF area.

Never a pleasant start to the day hearing this news

Updates on CNN show one passenger is now unaccounted for.

It's unfortunate to hear that two people are confirmed dead. However, and not to make that seem insignificant, I am still impressed that >300 managed to evacuate, particularly when looking at the remains of the aircraft.
