That said, it's a damn riot at these prices!!!

Availability has also been found around Christmas time. Not surprisingly, the specials are often cheaper than Flexis.

It's regular Business in the booking engine (i.e. no signs of "Deal" or other label). That said, if you change you'll be subject to fare difference, so I'd treat this fare as sticking to the date.

Well I've booked 2 tickets BNE-MEL in Novemeber. Already had MEL-BNE booked a long time ago so have been waiting for sale fare and this was too good too pass up.

If it doesn't work out... it is valid for a refund!

Should be no reason it should not credit as a normal Business fare? AFAICT VA would not have any other Business fare class that doesn't credit as Business (except for award flights).

Too bad the sale doesn't cover the next couple of weeks. Otherwise I could've used it to get my 2 r/t J flights for express WP requal *puts on flame suit*

I rang and checked, it shows as J class not another code, and it's full points and status credits. If you move it after the sale is finished at 1800h or to a date outside the sale date range you have to pay the fare difference as per normal J class T&C's. But certainly a way to bump up the SC's cheaply. Just qualified for Platinum this week and with an anniversary date on 1 SEP I have already booked enough flights to requal at a fraction of the price for the following period.
