The totally off-topic thread

When I was in the Hunter valley I came across a few interesting names.
The Chairman of the Hospital board was Richard Head.
A carpet layer Walter Wall.
And the Pipe family who named their son Dwayne.
But not to be outdone was Telstra who transposed the first 2 words of Dick's Cleaning service in the telephone directory.

Up on the Sunshine Coast in the 90s I knew 3 fellows whose name was Ronald McDonald.They were all in their 80s.

I restrained myself as I have a client who has a very unusual name but to say it would breach privacy as she could be located.
 
I knew 2 brothers in the Army whose surname was Major.

The eldest brother went to Portsea and was a Major. The other brother was a Sergeant.

So there was Major Major and Sergeant Major (who wasn't)
 
I knew a guy who was in the Army too - he was a cook at Puckapunyal - his job description? Tucka cough*a from Pucka !!!
 
I went to school with a girl named Joanne King ... but everyone knew she was Jo king.
