Passed my medical. The doctor didn't want to know about my unicorn bite despite me being on antibiotics at the time of my blood test.

Holidays start now!

Over this. Clearly some stuff being targeted at me from elsewhere. No idea how else to explain a random attack against a genuine comment which is months old. Done.

Two fairly simple maths problems that many people will get wrong...

#1

Harry and Harriet are out purchasing carpet for their living rooms. Harry's quote for the carpet for his living room is $1000. If Harriet's living room is twice as long and twice as wide as Harry's, how much should Harriet's carpet quote be?

#2

Bill is constructing a new fence 150 metres long from steel posts and wire. How many posts will Bill need to complete his new fence if the posts are placed 3 metres apart from each other?

But you've got me before I go.
1# 4 times the area, 4 times the cost. I assume

#2 not sure maybe 51.

One for Erkpod, I was at a local shopping centre and heard a couple of young guys speaking Finnish, I asked them what they were doing here in Canberra as I'm a busybody. I told them I could speak Finnish as well and started naming a few Finnish rally drivers.

One of the Finns said he is from Jyväskylä (the home of Rally Finland in the WRC) which a lot of people think of as being the spiritual home of rallying.

Anyway, they are here playing ice hockey (Finland's second national sport, after rallying:)). I asked if they enjoying Canberra and they said they had hoped would be warmer, had to laugh as it's very mild here at the moment and I'm not sure if we have had a frost as yet.

The first one is quite easy. You think of it as Harry's Carpet being 1x1m, then double it and it again.

The second one is a bit a trick question. It's not simply 150 / 3...
