I would love to hear your tasting comments on the French bubbly stuff here. Always up for a newbee and I must mention that after tasting the latest 2014 penfolds last weekend, dannys had some forty odd bucker champers on tasting. It was terrible, worse than my Yellowglen yellow goto drop. Also in todays Aldi dogologue is an early twenty dollar froggie to possibly try.

This arrived today ... I am in the good books, we had a discussion on wedding booze, and said roughly $400 on bubbles. she was going to get 6 good ones and 6 standard ones, after the CM (and CR) comes in around 315. which is still cheaper than a case of 6 from Dan's!
What sort of a venue will you be using for the big booze up afterwards Khussey? I guess I am already thinking ahead and getting ideas.

Pretty happy with our haul and they didn't lose any this time.
penegal and you obviously share similar tastes. Give me your appraisal BC on the differences here. They must be both nice drops otherwise you wouldn't bother.

I turned up to a luncheon for 7 of us with a small metal phot-likecase full of plonk. It did create a little of a wry smile from all including the waiter as it had a little of that Quentin tarantino what's in the box/shinny light Pulp Fiction feel about it and the moment. I must say I think you could have a lot of fun with the Cellarmasters premium red box set with that timber. By the way, did I tell you about the butcher's daughter. Forget her, just wait as I think CM will do all that again in the not too distant future.

I have forgotten it, but CM was a private company bought out by Woolworths I believe and still owned by them. Maybe next time they will do a 75 off a 150 spend. Still tempting.

The champagne they had on tasting was the Duppery. Its an in house label and Im definitely not a fan.
