In my pantry: microwave, bread maker, coffee maker, even a (second, small) sink, phone jack, so wi-fi router and NAS box. Close the door and they are all gone. (I need all the tricks I can muster to have a neat(-ish) kitchen.

It's a standard pantry, not a butler's pantry. Microwave is built into the bench.

Linen cupboard for the plug in cordless Dyson stick?

We have this enclosed space under our stairs. A dumping place. Christmas tree etc etc. I cleaned it out last week and found a power outlet there. Now it’s all cleaned out it’s where the Dyson gets charged. Perfect as our laundry makeover with an over the machine bench took out the place it used to live.

Found these tubs at Ikea which are perfect for grouping things like snacks and packets. I'm going to need a truck for all the things I want to get from Ikea

I think I will be taking a trailer to IKEA when I finally get into my home.

They’ve worked out that pets are the new children. There is an entire rack of dogs clothes. Mamma Mia.

My brother had a photo shoot for his dogs 1st birthday... Never did that with his own children. I can see him remodelling the house for a dog room.

Been on a bit of a blitz this weekend.
Got the wire baskets from Kmart for the pantry, along with a pile of hand towels for the powder room.
Target for a tonne of new coat hangers as I'm still using the old wire ones that aren't that great for your clothes.
And the nursery for my lemon tree.

Got confirmation Friday that all our cabinetry has been installed so looking forward to that.

OMG, I read the second last line as Lemon Tree for the nursery I got it correct at second look you'll be pleased to know.
Will be exciting to see the cabinets all in.

The joys of trying to arrange fencing. Left neighbour wants a particular company who has absolutely no online presence. When I asked for a quote the rep told me theyre "in the office Friday" so it seems I wont get one till then. I prefer another company that has been recommended, their work looks good and the quote is actually cheaper. I've also had to let the neighbour know that the fence can't go up for another month given access required to manouver the scaffolding for our house. I'm also wondering if that house is going to end up being a rental given the owners seem to build a new house every year....

Fencing sorted.

Fixing due any day now (as are two whopping invoices) and it looks like tiling is next on the agenda.

Im told they give you a sheet with green or blue dots, so you can go through and mark up spots that youre not happy with.

From the few new builds I follow, they dont give you enough dots so buy some now in preparation.

haha yes I've heard the same. Given our supervisor though I'd say the quality should be very high.

Fixing complete and we've been hit with both invoices today. Home straight now!
