If Joyce or Wirth felt emotions like embarrassment or shame, they would be overwhelmed by now with this fiasco.
Has anyone who had got thru have any suggestions how we can do likewise?
I feel like ringing the QFF helpline and just asking agents to check manually - maybe that is what others are doing - but hogging the line and the queue is pretty unfair for flyers who have urgent issues to address .

Also can't see any existing bookings uner my account... so the static parts of the website are OK by anything that requires the backend booking engine obviously is overloaded atm.

Yep same here, my booking has all of a sudden disappeared.

Got through again and picked 21/12 - it was Cathay after all 😂 So much for all the seats.

It seems Cathay has coincidentally realised a bunch of seats this morning. I changed a couple of legs on a OWA over the phone a couple of hours ago from MH and UL to MH and CX (in F). Naturally it only has a snowball's chance of being ticketed in time... I can see a bunch of issues with all these CX Awards not getting ticketed in the midst of QF's predictable website carnage today.

absolute comical, for sure QF will spin this as "look at the demand, so many want QF reward seats"....we'll have our system up & running soon, the demand is at record levels, like our profit and leave out our IT system is at record poor levels.

everybody saw this coming, QF shirley did too, but as usual they just don't care.

If only there was a website of similar popularity where I could sell my QFF points....

I get a bit excited when I put in all my cities (that I've manually typed like 10 times already) / dates, then click on "Search Flights", when it doesn't immediately crash and then tells me that I'll be subjected to xx_'s terms and conditions, and charged in xx_ dollars.

Only to then be brought back down to earth with a 500 error.

I made it through but nothing looks to have been loaded ICN-SYD for anywhere near when I want it

Seats I'd like showing on ExpertFlyer, can I book via Qantas? Website crashes. Error 500.
So they announce this to create huge interest, then huge interest crashes the system.

I managed to get a MEL-LHR on CX for September, only got through doing a one-way purchase as the return option kept throwing up the 500 error.

Not the ideal QF, but I'm grateful to have gotten anything tbh.

Looking for MEL to LHR in December and see nothing before the 24th. They may have released a lot of seats, but not on the dates I need.

Approaching a million points and willing to spend for J or F, but can't use them.
