Nice wines I have drunk recently - Red or White

Dinner with some dodgy AFFers in Melbourne.

At least the wines were decent 👍
What was the 2013 BP like. Last Friday my vehicle unfortunately took a few wrong turns and before I knew it I was at Rockfords. Whilst I was there, I asked if the 2014 was worth opening and within a couple of minutes a tasting was provided. It had been served at the lunch earlier that day, IMO the 2014 can stay in the bottle a little longer.

The 2013 was very good but can also be kept longer.

I had my last ‘11 BP bottle a week or so ago and it was in a really good place - only ‘11 left now is a magnum and I figure it’s safe for about 8 more years

I've still got two of the 11, should we be drinking them soon?

I reported a year or so back that I thought it wasn't going to get any better. I'm happy to be proven wrong. Let's face it, 2011 wasn't a great vintage for the Barossa region. May I suggest you drink one this winter and then decide what to do with the other bottle.

Edit to add
I drank my last 2 in September and October 2021

Had this really good Pinot from the Aosta Valley in the north west of Italy. Ignore the wine colour. I needed to over expose the image for the label to be visible. Lulu la Delizia in Subiaco continues to be excellent.

Occasionally I am surprised by how good a particular wine is drinking. This is one of them.
It's really good. Not big and ballsy like a McLaren vale shiraz but very smooooth. Wonderful flavour and shows no sign of diminishing quality.
A great wine from Mudgee.

Don't know whether those bottles were from lunch or an early dinner, but you seem to be cracking a fast pace if you are there for dinner!!
If that degenerate AFFer is who I think it is please be kind to him. You don't want to hurt his feelings. ;););)
