Surely not after the huge backlash and backflips after the last time they did it
I guess the big difference at the moment, is the poorer results from the company, was clear at the half year results that changes are on the way with a lot of cost being pulled out.

I hope they are not abandoning the whole product. However, I do note, that point offers prior to the extra program certainly had been more generous. I was racking up 100k QFF points prior to extra per year, now with the 10% program, it’s been 30-40k points. Those extra points that have been thrown about prior to the extra program have clearly been reinvested back into the 10%.

It’s a tough one. More QFF points or a 10% off. I preferred the higher points balance but each to their own.

Changes definitely incoming - they've just been announced for Delivery Unlimited. As of 1 June 2025, the earn rate on online shops will drop from 2 points per dollar to 1 (which is the equivalent of shopping in store without any form of paid membership/offering). They're trying to soften the blow by adding free 'Direct to boot' for 3 months from June, even though I'm sure people pay for Delivery Unlimited to avoid actually going into the store...

I have never heard of Delivery Unlimited!

Changes to Everyday Extra appear to be smaller - the 10% discount for Big W monthly shops is gone, but the earn rate of 2x points per dollar and the 10% discount for Woolies shops is staying intact. They are promising "new subscriber-only deals at BIG W and other partners as part of Extra Perks, starting from June" but I guess that will be a wait and see. These changes also look like they'll take effect from 1 June 2025.

To be fair I dont use the Big W discount often but when I do its a reasonable spend. Bit rough to get everyone signed up then drop the benefits.
Agree, but there will be pro-rated refunds for people who have purchased annual subscriptions and don't want to keep them, and because there's 30 days notice, people have enough time to cancel their monthly subscriptions in May and not be charged in June after the changes come into effect.

Time to cancel then, haven't seen the email yet though :(

Yes, based on the email I have received.
I doubt many would have signed up just for Big W. We have 2 x annual members at 50% off ie $35 each. That pays for itself every 1-2 months in our large household.
