I have proper internet again! I have survived my two weeks in Queensland. Now to survive the flight home tomorrow........

We were flown up Qantas but are flying home on a work plane .

Have had a fun time in Qld, even if the Water Police did radio ahead to the Magnetic Island Police to meet our ferry. Might have had something to do with our yelling at them as the ferry departed Townsville.

I was the only person licenced on the company car the other day so I had to drive a bunch of us to Innisfail. It's about a year since I drove a manual though. The comment the boys had was 'you didn't stall'. Still keen for a ROAD TRIP Flashware?

That's not a real "road Trip" - you're never more than a few Km's from home.

Try driving to Cann River- just for fun!

Geelong and Ballarat are more thna just a 'few km' away from the People's Republic of Brunswick.

We did Perth to Margaret River and back in March, so doing something a little shorter this time.

When we get a car with a much softer suspension and softer ride, a cross country road trip is on the cards. I couldn't handle much more than the 2-3 hours each way to/from the 'in-laws' in Wonthaggi in our current form of transportation...
