I was just looking through the AFF Flight Tracker & was wondering how much people have flown this year.

In 2013, I'll be landing on 25 segments with a total of 48266 km including the flight back from Canberra for the train trip weekend after next. This was with a lot of domestic US sectors on Amtrak. I was away Jan/Feb in America & Mexico. Australian domestic trips in May (ADL via MEL status run), July (OOL), August (MEL & DRW), September (BNE) & December (CBR).

With what I've got planned so far in Jan/Feb 2014 with domestic US travel totally by plane, I'll be on 19 segments & 47194 km by the end of February. I'll easily smash 2013's figure!

I know compared I don't fly a lot compared to some people here (I'm totally self-funded, no work trips) but that's a massive couple of years for me.

I now commute interstate for work - i have clocked 140 flights since Jan 13, including two US trips. Admittedly, if i went direct every time it would be a bit less :)

Needless to say, I don't enjoy paxing on planes anymore.

Not enough, but thems the breaks when you have 3 big trips cancelled :(

I still got to do my "harvyk has a blast in asia and on 747's" week, but I had a US trip cancelled and two trips (another one to the US and one to Spain) never get off the ground.

Thanks to some Dom flying (although there was a transcon in there) I'm sitting at 17 flights for this year.

About 127k miles at this stage with one more possible trip.

Two SYD - LHR returns with alot of SYD - ASIA return flights.

2013 was a massive year for me. Doing a few flights to ensure platinum for both the 2013 and 2014 years as well as some great holidays means I flew 36 segments and have another 2 to do before the end of the year. 107,704 kms! Nothing like that coming up sadly :(

127k miles and Im just about Gold! (Got to love deep discount economy!)

Not nearly enough. Only 17 segments for 35 730 miles. But I'm like you erkpod, no work flying.

Whatever that works out to. Maybe 50 odd segments, 100K odd miles? Might even have outdone last year!

109,801 Miles YTD
93 sectors
Probably another 5,000 odd miles to be flown before the end of the year.

52,287 miles / 84,148 kms
76 sectors, 64 of which were domestic - still got a few more before the end of the year.
56 self- funded, 20 work-funded (all QantasLink to/from TSV - which probably won't be happening any more due to staffing changes).

I made Gold for the first time four weeks ago, and with the current DSC offer will see Platinum by the end of January. Happy Cat :)

Well with a new membership year just starting then so does the count. So six segments this month and two in Feb and hopefully a few more in May 2014. But I fear that awful four letter word ending in K (work) will start to interfere early next year.

This year, not enough BIS for my liking but QF was happy enough to give me WP1 (DSCs were fully utilised :) ).

Was a busy year for me and I still have 4 sectors with QF 2 with VA and 1 with EY before the end of the year. My other sectors were QF 51 CX 2 AA 2 VA 30. Total 92 flights in 2013. QFI 6 QFD 49 VANZ 4 VA 28 CX 2 AA 2 EY 1. January is starting with CX 1 TG 1 EY 1 QF 12. Flight break downs 4 in Y (QF Link) 4 in W (VANZ) 78 in J (QF VA EY CX) 6 in F (QFI 4 AA 2)

2013 has taken me to the following international airports:
Asia-Pacific
BKK, SIN, KUL, HKT, USM, HKG, TPE, KIX, NRT, GUM, ICN

Europe
MUC, TXL, ZRH, FRA

Americas & Africa

All personal travel, with 12 of them new ports, a very memorable year for me.

I think 15 for me (45,000km), all for pleasure. My biggest total ever but next year is looking even busier with at least that many flights already booked/planned.

Just beat me :)

70 and 120k for me. Last year though (2012) was a record for me. 102 segments and 201k miles.

Next year will likely break mileage records for me due to the fact I have a sneaking suspicion that i'll be commuting to the UK A lot.
