Oh don't tell me....

Just got the email as well today...

Did the CBR-SYD-HBA status run yesterday, and have a NAN run booked for first week of June which I paid for this morning...does this mean I have just missed out ?

Is there anything I can do to make the most of this and make my existing bookings qualify for this??

I'd say so. You need to accept the offer and fill out a survey before you are eligible.

Yeah, I got the QF love this time around.

It's interesting that my last flight with them was nearly 6 months ago, and that I've only recently booked flights.

Me thinks that I need to do some serious flying in the next couple of months...

I actually went to the link and did the survey. Took only a few minutes.

What I would like to know is what qualifies as a valid Qantas Dom and Int'l flight?

Also, I fortunately flew in yesterday (10 May) and will fly back to Melbourne tomorrow.

I only saw the 20 SC against my flight but then I read the smal print...added below:

"^ Recipients of this email will be eligible for double Status credits by registering for this offer via the above registration link in the main text area of this email and then by booking and travelling on any Qantas International or Domestic flight with a Qantas flight number where Status credits are normally earned between 10 May and 31 July 2011. This offer is not transferrable. Qantas may extend the offer. Extra Status credits will be awarded within 6 weeks of travel. "

Basically we have to wait 6 weeks to see them. This will work well for me as I have, hopefully, three business class return flights MEL/SIN in the next few months. This should push me into Platinum for the NEXT cycle as well as finally hit LT Silver (not that it gives me anything now).

Same here, got a J return booked and paid for next month... Hopefully I can get some work trips approved but that will just be domestic and trans tasman.

I just got one as well. Unfortunately my anniversary is June 30th but I guess I can get 2011/12 off to a flying start - although like a few other people I've already got travel booked for most of the time from now until the end of the offer. Perhaps I'll have to squeeze in a SYD-AKL-NAN-LAX-JFK rtn run and get Platinum at the end of July.

Any other suggestions?

Looks like l missed out too. l also have a Oz-Europe trip right in the middle of that promo period. Oh well, you can't get them all.

If I recall correctly the last round of SC promo emails were sent out in batches - over a couple of days? There may be hope for you yet.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't.
I don't have a one, but it usually stipulates when the booking is to be made by and what period the promo is between.
(But hey, l have been wrong before)
