Doing some calculations today I went to pull up the QFF SC chart and this link came up in Google:

Frequent Flyer - Program - Double Status Credits

Earn double Status credits on all eligible* Qantas flights when you register, book and travel between 1 May 2013 and 31 July 2013.

Not sure if it's a prepared link for an upcoming campaign or a mistake.... but might be worth keeping in mind if you plan to travel in the mentioned period as bookings have to be made after 1 May.

Has anybody tried to register yet?

Wonder who will get their bum kicked for letting it go live before the promotion was launched?

There is a whole series of those pages through the year. Presumably that were set up as part of a program of promotions.

The page being there doesn't mean anyone can register yet.

They are generally sent two months out from an individual's requalification, aren't they?

Just replace the three letters for other months, and you'll see there are pages for all 12 months: January is Frequent Flyer - Program - Double Status Credits

I don't think there is any set time it is sent out.. I received one last year from the start of my renewal. that is often a very busy travel time for me.

Lucky you! I tend to get them two months before requal (only based on the last two years as previously I had requaled well before). I generally book in advance so the new bookings requirement is a pain.

Can't register for it with either FF account.

IME they have always been targeted. Never been able to use someone else link to sign up.

SWMBO dropped from silver to bronze recently and received an offer in the mail.

That's 2 for her now and none for me =(
But I have a feeling 2013 is gonna be my year!

I think I got a DSC offer about 4 or 5 years ago, but was not in a position to use it. I could sure use one now. :)

Going to hang off booking anything for a little while just in case, but it is a balancing act between waiting for an offer, and diminishing availability of suitable JASAs

I have a feeling mrsdrron will get the offer in the OP.We finish one trip on 28/4 and start the next 1/8.

This offer is only valid for selected recipients for new bookings made on or after 1 May 2013 for travel on or before 31 July 2013.
