Double Status Credits 2013

Had two offers in 2012 and wish I had received offer again.

Yes I am going for a run up the east coast to get past 2400 status credits this month following a 3 month double status credits offer earlier in the Qantas year. That AFF principle of why fly direct when you can connect applies when you get close to Gold, Platinum or higher.

How long does it generally take for DSC to post? I know it's anywhere up to 6 weeks but have people noticed it posting quickly of late?

The DSC on the SYD-OOL promo last year posted the day after the points posted.

How often do blanket DSC get offered, like the OOL one? By blanket I mean available to everyone not just the FF's nearing the end of their member year

Was OOL a blanket one? I don't remember getting it!

i don't believe the OOL double SC was a blanket one.

My mistake, I just assumed that it was for some reason as I only thought that the end of member year DSC offer was targeted and the rest were for everyone. I stand corrected. Which leads me onto my next question, how do you get to be in that targeted group for not end-of-member-year DSC offers?

Lucky prize draw for anyone to guess. Have you checked if you have the box ticked in your profile to accept promos and whatnot?

Dont think anyone knows the answer as to how you get on the list, but I am betting the actual campaign will kick off just after Easter.

Does anyone know how long the double SC's take to post? I have done BNE-MEL-BNE and BNE-SYD-CBR-SYD-BNE in the space of a week and with the double SC's I should have WP now. Balance still has me with 95SC's to go with three trips booked next week.

Does the DSC offer only apply until you hit the next tier, or does it apply right up until the end of the stated period?

I'm 150SC away from the next tier at the moment (having already gone up one tier in the past week) and if the DSC continues I ought to only be 50SC away from it - in which case, cue me up a return flight! :D

DSC lasts until stated period.

Three months out from my reassessment date I received a DSC enticing me to reach PS. I then under the DSC purchased a CNS-SYD flexi pushing me to PS and a trip to LOTFAP putting me halfway to SG, I then did a status run in LOTFAP. After the status run I was still short of SG and it was the return trip LAX-SYD that put me over, the DSC still applied to that trip (putting an extra 45SC towards LTS)

I've generally always had DSC's credited within a week. The longest I've ever personally seen it take was 2 weeks.

I've had them for my past 5 flights, and all credited within 4 days of travel.

Also, just to confirm - ASA's are eligable for DSC's?
