We have some exciting news to share with you, and would like to offer AFF members an opportunity to join us at Rockpool Bar & Grill in Melbourne (3 September 2013) and Sydney (4 September 2013) to celebrate!

For a chance to join The Qantas Loyalty Team for lunch, list the 3 things you would most like to know about Qantas Cash.

Send me a private message with your entry, Qantas Frequent Flyer number and the event you would like to attend by 5pm AEST 26 August to be considered. The lucky winners will receive a private message by COB 28 August.

To enter, you must be an AFF member for at least one year, and also a Qantas Frequent Flyer member.

We’ll choose the most interesting entries. All flight expenses within Australia will be covered by Qantas.

Looking forward to your responses.

Red Roo

A big thank you to the Qantas Loyalty Team for once again offering AFF members an opportunity like this!

Thanks QF for the offer to the AFF community - would love to enter and attend but heavy work commitments those two dates sadly.

Good luck to all entrants.

I am not eligible as haven't clocked up 12 months yet but do have a request for your consideration. Please make sure the web interfaces are fully accessible to the blind and vision impaired.

I am blind myself and Qantas recent changes to your booking search engine have rendered me unable to use your site. I have contacted customer care and they have put me in touch with your web developers and hopefully it will be fixed soon.

It would just be a shame if this new product wasn't accessible on the web side from the beginning.

Thanks,
Dale.

Whilst I have a pretty poor track record for winning these things, I've submitted my questions... For the record Qantas Cash is actually something I am considering signing up to thanks to the failings of my existing cash passport from Aust Post.

Hope this doesnt preclude me but 4 Questions sent by PM :D

I agree, just a pity I'm commencing a new (temporary) job next week. :) Still there's always the next opportunity. I'll get there one day.

What a great opportunity thanks QF :)
Having been to a couple of lunches with the team, the lucky winners are in for a real treat.
Sadly for me, I'm unable to enter due to work commitments but we will hopefully see lots of great pics and info from the attendees.
Good Luck :)

A great opportunity, thanks Red Roo. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend. For the record, it would be nice to see something like this in Brisbane from time to time. There does seem to be a heavy Syd/Mel focus.

all I want to know is how much are the fees and charges associated with the card?

why do I need to enter a competition to ask those questions?

You only need to enter the competition if you'd like to join "Qantas Loyalty" for lunch.

While I applaud Qantas for again giving members the chance to win a free lunch, I'm again saddened that I can't go. Next year, or at least after November, I'll very much be a contender! Congrats to winners. :)

As for Qantas CASH itself, I am very interested due to the fact I can't get a credit card, and using a debit card does not earn me points... so think of all the points I'm missing out on. I understand from the tidbits we've heard that it'll have up to 9 currencies and be very useful (up for debate) internationally, but as I'm a mainly domestic flyer I hope you don't forget about me when designing the fee structure ;)

I'm happy to pay a few dollars a month to earn points when shopping at Woolworths, which others take for granted on their CC's they can apply and be approved for... but not much more than that, and I fear the fee structure might preclude me from using the card to it's full potential... to earn me some points!

appreciate that, and i could understand an entry requirement asking why I would like to go to the launch... but the entry requirements as they stand do not build my confidence in the product.

i do not understand why I should even have three questions I would like to know about qantas cash?

this is a financial product. I should already have all the information I need, easily presented and readily available so I can make an informed financial decision.

my point is that access to this information shouldn't be something that is the basis of a competition.

As for available information, check the link provided by Straitman in post #12 and see where that leads you. Maybe there is something in the PDS missing or hard to find.

I would suggest this competition is a promotion of the product and is to generate comment and discussion on it. Such discussion as well entry to the competition are optional. :D

Would love to join everyone, unfortunately work in BKK will keep me away. :(
Good luck to everyone - hope you enjoy the days immensely!

Where is the PDS? I haven't seen one yet nor have I seen the scale of charges.

I currently have the OzForex travel card, as it was better value than the CBA version, which I considered. I know there are lots of others but until we know what the charges are, it's a bit hard to judge if QF Cash is going to be any good or not.

The only thing I remember seeing about charges was in the questionnaire I completed for QF months ago, where there were lots of different scenarios and I had to choose which one I preferred. I'm sure others here completed the same.
