It is not worth paying. Its a basic lounge with pretty basic food offerings.. think dips, finger sandwiches and a slop of some sort of pasta.

Not a great example as it is law in the US - not upto QF or the airline... they need to comply hence why its only a US only policy for QF.

Given Jetstar have a daytime DPS-ADL flight I would take that (4 hours) over going via somewhere else in Asia and pushing it out to a 12-14hour overnight trip.

Th e $10 offset fee is a standard charge by Adelaide bank on their current offerings. As for the 20K... just stick it in the offset so its not an additional payment.

I doubt the 737 Max would be able to carry much freight if any given the distance. Does this flight connect well to ANAs EU and US flights? If so it could be a way for CNS-USA and CNS - EU transfer traffic.

On my last JQ DPS-ADL flight there were several EK codeshare customers connecting AMS-DXB-DPS-ADL.

The QF INT lounge is dire... the options are better in the domestic lounges which says something.
