Have just got off the return QF20 flight, and am happy to report that both toilets were available; my previous experience was apparently an exception. With just 6 (!!!) of us in J was very nice indeed. (the QF19 referred to above had 21 in J).

Conceivably this is some kind of anti-COVID measure, so that pilots do not have to share a loo with pax; but given that everyone on the plane is ipso facto fully vaxxed and tested negative, it seems it bit extreme even for that.

I flew QF19 SYD-MNL yesterday on a 333 in J, and was surprised to find that the passageway from the cabin to the coughpit is now locked off, and with it access to the forward toilet The cabin crew pleaded ignorance as to the reason for this: Does anyone have any intel on what is happening here...

Totally agree...used them yesterday, very quick and trouble-free; they promise results in 90 mins but mine came through via text/email in barely 30 mins. Who needs RATs...

Same experience with me...tried 5 different CW outlets in my vicinity, none of them were offering these tests. Have signed up to do it at the airport...
