    I'm on a watchlist...

Wow that’s pretty average investigative work by the behind the scene police teams. Some nations you would sue for millions for that!

    Classic Lite proposal

So probably worth it for carry on only, but if you intend to take baggage, seems pointless as it comes up more expense as a classic reward via QF includes baggage. Seems more like a lure to get people into paying more for ‘pay with points’ add ons which are a poor use of points, but more...

    I'm on a watchlist...

I know virgin threatened to ban people and close FF accounts if they went ahead with chargebacks during the bankruptcy. AFP/ASIO won’t make it public information if you are on a watch list. On many occasions you are being watched by coverts. Have you ever had a disagreement with Virgin staff...

Bali Flights Cancelled due to Lewotobi Volcano Nov. 2024

Envelope is increasing again. Not sure what the deciding factor is for the airlines to stop again, certainly any breach past 117E would seem probable. We shall see what the winds do overnight and tomorrow mornings update will be interesting.

Qatar Airways to acquire 25% of Virgin Australia

QF A330s MEL-DPS would be the only real thing that would happen in that space.

Bali Flights Cancelled due to Lewotobi Volcano Nov. 2024

I think Virgin’s charter 435pm from DPS wasn’t a passenger flight it seems, the ABC said the opposite, but seat map has very few seats taken and it looks like crewing only.

Bali Flights Cancelled due to Lewotobi Volcano Nov. 2024

Virgin said on ABC the 435pm is a recovery flight. All airlines should have crews stuck in DPS so the return legs shouldn’t be an issue, can’t see why duty issues would be an issue, they have all had 3 days off in DPS.

Jetstar are sticking to a no refunds policy, credit only. Virgin and Qantas offering refunds. Jetstar have always been hell bent on refunds.

Bali Flights Cancelled due to Lewotobi Volcano Nov. 2024

Next few graphical updates will be interesting as the winds are shifting. Recovery will take a few days regardless. Virgin has a MAX stuck on the ground it seems so at least they will be able to get one plane load out when times permit.

Bali Flights Cancelled due to Lewotobi Volcano Nov. 2024

Zero chance. The advisory goes until 1330 local and the zone over the airport. Often even when the winds have started to shift, is a 24 hour period for that to occur. Rebooking DPS flights is quite problematic for the airlines as average LFs run the 90s. They would need to add extra flights...
