    Overwing exits on the A320 are always armed - so can be activated anytime. It's not something the crew arm/disarm like passenger doors. Overwing on 737s don't have slides, so popping the window escape wouldn't have the same disruption to the aircraft.

    QF63 is a medical diversion. MEL makes sense as it is a base and they have called out crew in MEL to operate it to prevent further disrupt. It was obviously serious enough to divert but allowing the extra flying to MEL.

    I'm not talking about the media released one. The ones released for actual use onboard have already been edited. JAL is 4 minutes for two languages. QF is over 8 minutes for two.

    The fact that Qantas has already had to re-edit the safety video shows this most recent version didn't land. A newer one can't come soon enough and hope it is quicker and actually features the inside of an aircraft.
