Is Qantas really running two separate flights with the same call sign or is this a glitch with FR24?
ZNN still on its way to LHR after departing SIN last nightIs Qantas really running two separate flights with the same call sign or is this a glitch with FR24?
Yes.Is Qantas really running two separate flights with the same call sign
Ah yes of course! Should have paid more attention to what the first flight actually does. Sorry! Two different aircraft on the same multi sector route spaced apart MEL-PER-SIN-LHR
The flight status page on the QF website shows QF9 resuming from 29/4. It has QF209!up to 28/4.Any updates on whether this is changing back to QF9? Seems like things are clear for now between Israel and Iran...
Just got notified that QF9 will fly as QF209 PER-SIN-LHR, with a departure 4 hours earlier, on the 19th (and I’m sure many other dates)
Better than being shot down I feel… it’ll be interesting to see if QF is bleeding a few customers to other airlines as it isn’t non-stop anymore.

Hmm, I am on QF9 early next month. Good thing I am overnighting in PER beforehand, if they are still leaving early and going via SIN.It looks like QF9 has been replaced with QF209 until the 23rd. QF10 continues as non-stop.
CDG and FCO continue to show as non-stop in both directions.
Aircraft is being used to operate QF209 instead to SIN/LHRQf6 per-syd showing as cancelled today - I wonder if the CDG/PER had an extended flight time and the 789 doesn't have enough time to get to Syd and back
QF 5 SYD-PER also cancelledQf6 per-syd showing as cancelled today - I wonder if the CDG/PER had an extended flight time and the 789 doesn't have enough time to get to Syd and back

Qantas has axed its non-stop mega flight from Perth to London due to soaring tensions in the Middle East.
The 17-hour flight will now stop in Singapore before taking an alternative route that dodges risky airspace, the airline said on Thursday.
“We’re making adjustments to some of our flight paths due to the situation in parts of the Middle East as a precaution,” a spokesperson said. “We’ll contact customers directly if there’s any change to their booking.”
It’s understood return flights from London to Perth will operate direct, due to prevailing winds.

I am flying the same day so will see you in the lounge (hopefully).I'm booked on to QF9 on 30 August and waiting for the change notification. My concern is that I am currently on 775 to get from MEL-PER, but this will obvs miss the new departure time of QF209... But they have only scheduled upto and including 22 August by the looks of FR24. Has anyone else been impacted by the changes? Keen to hear how they accommodated you over to PER?
