Do you mean the BNE overflow lounge that Virgin refer to in announcements as "the Cafe"? If so, I think its main use is to be less noisy and have seats available at times the main lounge is packed. There's a couple of nooks in there you could have explored to double your walking time to 8 seconds.

Yes, PER T3 (main terminal, not the one for regional flights) I don't mind the rest of the lounge despite the lack of views. I find showers in lounges frequently lack good ventilation and so you end up sweaty from being in there to try and was off sweat. In this case, that constant dampness...

Was there any first class award availability on the DL flight? This should price as business, and I have proven that it was possible to book it as such on a standalone flight, but only by staying on the phone a while and providing links to the Velocity website

I have seen the crew bags in the row 3/4 locker but not the bad attitude only the usual helpfulness. The former is a bit of a pain, but the latter would really annoy me.

I can only comment on the hard product as it was an economy only flight where I managed to snare a business seat, however I was in Row 2 in the pair on the right (with a colleague) and it felt identical to the similar seating position in J in 73H.

I think there is an error on that latest Thai product chart for Sydney (and others). Unless there are some changes happening I didn't think there were any flat bed J seats on the 747-400 (any layout).

I think that 465/466 are sloping and 461/462 are flat. That's certainly what we had recently. There are two types of sloping seat depending on which model 777 you get on 461/462. The 77W on 465/466 has Sogerma solstys staggered seats as per the Thai A380
