I'm in the VA Lounge thread

BNE dom lounge 0700 ish on Fri 13 June for an 0755 flight.

We both have EY Gold but not sure if we can guest in people on this.

VA SYD dom lounge, can't fault it.
Definitely its better than VA PER dom.
Thanks for allowing me to brag.
If anyone is thinking about it, and you don't want to pay the QP rates of annual entry, and you don't pass VA PER dom, the other ones are definitely worth the money spent, (if you can afford it).

Hello all,

Slightly off topic - still relevant to the lounges though. If I am travelling VA dom in Y am I able to take a guest into the lounge whom is not travelling that day?

Am getting a lift to the airport on Friday lol.

Aye, 1 for gold and 3 for plat. I've caught up with friends in MEL this way during longer transit stops

Here at BNE Gate 39... After my flight from SYD to OOL got diverted for some tech issue, OOL runway too short....
About to board the shortest 738 back to OOL - Hehe!!

Grateful I have Row 3...

EDIT: Briefly visited The Lounge; Lack of Cookies and the self serve Soft Drink was totally off :(

Enjoy it! I'm currently at OOL albeit not travelling!

Mr DJ, unsure wether the silver passes get a guest in or not :( you can only try!

I'm in a VA lounge now but instead of naming it, I thought we could instead play "guess which lounge based on the amount and patterns of mould on the shower ceiling"

Bofter, that's PER!/?

Yes, PER T3 (main terminal, not the one for regional flights)

I don't mind the rest of the lounge despite the lack of views. I find showers in lounges frequently lack good ventilation and so you end up sweaty from being in there to try and was off sweat. In this case, that constant dampness seems to have had quite an effect on the ceiling. I don't remember it being quite that bad previously.

In per T3. WOW at the mouldy ensuite. It wasn't anything like that when I used the shower in November

Just popped in to the 'new' VA lounge in BNE, and after walking all the way around it I left 4 seconds later and went back to the 'old' BNE VA lounge. Could barely fit 10 chairs inside.

Must be a 'soft opening'.

Do you mean the BNE overflow lounge that Virgin refer to in announcements as "the Cafe"? If so, I think its main use is to be less noisy and have seats available at times the main lounge is packed. There's a couple of nooks in there you could have explored to double your walking time to 8 seconds.

I will be in the VA OOL lounge from 11 am today, happy to guest in up to my limit 3 people I think as a WP

in the BNE lounge for CNS and return today, CNS at 1245, and back again in the BNE lounge for a 9am to SYD tomorrow,,,, busy weekend for us... sitting at the end of the computer charging table...
