I guess it depends what value you put on status. As someone with Lifetime Silver, I consider silver to not be worth very much. It does have some marginal benefits and is nice to have, but Gold is the sweet spot.

So far this promo mine have been credited as as a day after travel. It’s interesting that different trips are taking different amounts of time to credit.

Food selection is the same as the other part of the lounge it looks like. No a la carte menu. Seems pretty underwhelming for a F lounge other than it is quieter with less people.

I am LTS but it’s my understanding that LTG and SG are treated pretty much the same. Whether or not it makes a marginal difference to things like upgrades I don’t know.

Had a few servings in SYD yesterday. Probably should have asked for it without the chilli, but it was still nice.

I was at the SYD FLounge yesterday. MEL is my local but why fly direct when you can fly indirect? Enjoyed a few servings of the S & P Squid (though would have been better without the chilli), the Duck and the pavlova plus a few other dishes.
