If the requirement was simply to maintain a balance of >1 million points then I could easily become P1. If the requirement was to earn it in one year then I wouldn’t get P1 this way for the foreseeable future.

Bigger servings in SIN would be a great thing there as if going all the way between AU and LHR you’d typically have limited time in the lounge

I have used the shower without needing to book in both MEL F and SYD F. If you’re travelling solo with extended lounge time it’s nice to freshen up and have a shower. The shower suite is bigger than my bathroom at home. Spa treatments are more difficult to come by though I haven’t asked for one...

A change to a revenue model may make exceptions for shorter domestic routes. Presumably if they changed to a revenue model existing LTSC would still count, and with some warning some may decide to hurriedly book some status runs whilst the old rules remain in place if the new model will make it...

I think if QF goes revenue based it may become harder to get LTG, but that shouldn’t impact those that have existing LTG. However devaluation of SG and/or making it harder to attain WP would impact those with LTG.

It’s nice when it works, but last year I had failed upgrades both ways to/from LHR despite requesting an upgrade as late as at the gate. Though the time before that I had success both ways.

Chicken Breast on AKL to MEL. Full flight. Was one of the last to be served the meal, but not the last to be asked for a meal preference.

As far as I can remember, I personally have never had success requesting seats for myself, but some friends have had success. I might request a return seat release in J/F to the UK for the European summer, but I don’t expect it to be approved.

When they become senior execs with the power to direct a huge travel budget to QF they may get offered CL?

I guess seeing I’m arriving earlier I’ll probably wander over to Domestic and use the arrivals lounge even though going through security again can be a bit of a pain

Oh, economy. Still at peak times they may expect to overbook economy as it is.

It’s showing U0 so I assume they have already sold some reward seats (if released). They may have already had some additional reward seats released or feel at a peak travel time they can most likely fill the remaining seats from paying customers.

Wondering if I should ask at the airport to stick with my original delayed indirect flight rather than be rerouted to direct. ORC seems a big pain from this thread.
