Thanks very much @blackcat20 & @ChrisW. for your constructive and factual input that’s how I read it all as well. I think the slight complication in this case is due to the other generous covid status bonus / extensions etc it’s cast some doubt on the actual dates… but I think they will be fine.

In the US when flying AA, I almost always see people trying it on, boarding ahead of their time. It’s not just Australians :)

A colleague flew this J seat a couple of weeks ago and was raving about it. So as with anything it seems unsurprisingly that some people love it, some don’t :)

I look at it slightly differently - yes, what Qatar/Qatar state did is utterly unforgivable, and then not to even properly acknowledge / compensate / even apologise properly to this day is salt into the open wound, but… ….It’s also an absolute disgrace that our (Australian) government did not...
