I think the poster meant the QR F lounge is below the EK lounge (not the Al Mourjan). Agree never particularly like Al Mourjan - the new garden lounge however is a lot better.

I doubt it, makes sense for QF to consolidate at HND. Potentially JQ might look at a SYD-NRT flight, but i think there's enough capacity there already.

The daytime flight will still exist just may not be to SYD.....

I think all baggage services have been outsourced and the customer service is not what is once was sadly.

DOH and AUH are a much nicer transit experience compared to DXB especially if you don’t have lounge access.
