Hey, I currently have 2xU tickets booked on QF25 departing 4/7/06. I wanted to leave a couple of days earlier, but there is no U availability. Using ExpertFlyer, there appears to be heaps of J availability. From your past history, is there a reasonable chance that Qantas may release a...

New TBIT LAX QF/BA/CX First & Business Lounge Mid-2007

Finally they have recognised how poor the lounges in TBIT are and are redeveloping them... The only downside is we have to wait a whole year, but i am sure the wait will be worth it. "New lounges for Los Angeles From mid-2007, members with access to The Qantas Club can enjoy a new lounge...

    Altitude Platinum

Why would you consider it as a replacement? You only earn the equivalent of 0.5 Qantas Points per $ spent on the Mastercard... The Amex will only earn you 2.0 Qantas Points per $ until September, then reverts back to 1.5 Qantas points per $... No real advantage from the AMEX Platinum Charge...

Re: Business use I have had this card for 5 months now. In that time i have made purchases in excess of $85,000. I have not been queried as to the nature of my purchases. Clearly a significant proportion of this expenditure is related to my business. Therefore, i don't believe...

    Upgrading to Platinum

Regardless of what it says in the Terms and Conditions, my brother held the platinum card for 6 months and then cancelled it. No increased or new platinum fee was charged during that time. Perhaps the 'rule' isn't applied? I know it wasn't in our case.
