I think only selected stores stock them, no way to check which one. Even current $50 eBay promo, some stores have zero cards, I doubt they were that popular given the 5 limit per customer. Another store had a full stack.

If you really have purchase in mind then ok, but the more people buys this, then this might be the norm in the future. Not really 5% in my books, 5% back in WW dollars or as Qantas points depends how much you value them at the moment. And having about 1.5m Qantas points and still accumulating...

I don't really understand what you mean by cash out? Pay yourself or pay bills? Why can't you use the prepaid mastercard directly at the ACT online store, council website, utilities, strata, etc.?

May as well use that directly with the merchant since it's already prepaid, the real points had already been earnt when purchasing it.

Sniip is 1.5% using Amex and earns full points for ATO, so if you value your points/miles gained more than the surcharge, then yes pay with the credit card via Sniip.
