I might bite on this offer. An easy 10k points. I have had dramas in the past with the staff not wanting to sell more than a few and citing scams. Gets frustrating arguing with them.

My wife hasn't worked out why I only ever go out for a morning walk on a Wednesday.

$100 card makes $5.52 profit.
$250 card makes $4.28 profit.

Huge savings, I spose 5% is 5% to some.

Plus throw in bonus points earnt using Amex at no surcharge allowing you to effectively use Amex at locations where you cannot.

And also allows parents to provide an emergency-use only card for children on trips (you know those things that happened pre-CV )

This may or may not be common knowledge but for anyone looking for additional stock of these $250 cards, if there’s none on the shelves try looking inside the gift card cabinet. There is a door on either side with various boxes inside. The boxes with the $250 cars look like this:

I am finding these quite often. Either ask a staff member to look for you or open and look yourself.

This worked a treat for me. I went late on Friday night to do some shopping and there were only $50 ones out on display. As there was nobody about I opened the cupboard and was met with the scene in the attached attached photo.

Someone had very conveniently dug out the boxes of $100 and $250 cards, opened them up taken what they wanted and left the reasonably full boxes at waist height just for me! Thanks.

4x $250 cards for me (I'd bought 1 elsewhere on Wednesday). I love paying my tax at less than 100 cents in the dollar and earning FF points on the way through.

$100 it is...mmmm no Benifit for tax though as just free fee for card.... helps with amex to buy something as required for new card offer though

And I need to spend a little under another $2k by Aug 15 for Amex 9,000 point offer. Looks like all family accounts will get a look in.

Much better than the alternative I was looking at in paying a surcharge on using that Amex Card for WW egcs.

That's what I do, my daughter has a photo of the bar code. "emergency use" is a bit of a stretch

I think only selected stores stock them, no way to check which one. Even current $50 eBay promo, some stores have zero cards, I doubt they were that popular given the 5 limit per customer. Another store had a full stack.
