    Thanks for all the responses. I should have mentioned originally that depending on points earn fees isn't an issue. I just saw the Amex Westpac Black gives 2.5 velocity on international. Nothing like the old Citi Prestige?? :(

    I've used my Citibank Plus travel card in Bali and Europe more recently with no issues. I'd get the Citi app and also take another card or 2 to try if the Citi fails and you need a backup.

    Virgin Money High Flyer card is 1pt per $1 up to $8,000 month and then 0.5 every $1 after that. Might be an option depending on how uncapped you really need it.

    Yeah I'm leaning to no but then they have: Complimentary stopovers are not permitted for one-way awards. If they weren't allowed wouldn't that just say "stopovers are not permitted for one-way awards". Adding complimentary confuses the situation and is why I'm unsure. :(
