I should've added that on the same trip we are flying home QAN from SIN-SYD also in Premium economy with 2 of us using points (getting rid of the last of my QFF points) and the taxes/charges etc are the same as the 4 of us flying to HKG with VS.

Just redeemed 4 premium economy SYD - HKG with VS for later in the year. Other than that I find them great for upgrading

Maybe I've been lucky but my Lumo points always post within 1 week of paying the bill.

I got a response in 3 business days (this was early Aug 2013)

I flew to OOL with my family and parents on Friday and all points and SC posted on Sunday with the return flights on Monday posting this morning for all 6 of us.
